Embed league standings on CivicPlus
CivicPlus powers a large share of US city, county and parks and recreation websites. Its CivicEngage editor supports embedded content, but many installations restrict which HTML editors and external domains are allowed, so this one sometimes needs a short conversation with whoever administers the site.
Which snippet: Start with the plain iframe snippet. Most CivicEngage configurations permit iframes from an allowed domain but strip script tags outright.

Step by step

Sign in to the CivicEngage admin
Log in to your municipal site’s admin at /admin and open the page you want to edit, usually under the parks and recreation section.

Open the source view
Place the cursor where the standings should appear and open the editor’s source or code view (often a "<>" button, sometimes labelled Source).

Paste the iframe snippet
Paste the iframe snippet from the widget generator, then switch back out of source view and save the page.

If iframes are blocked, ask for an allowlist entry
Ask your site administrator or CivicPlus support to allow embedded content from statharbour.com on that page. This is a routine request; they do the same for calendars and mapping tools.

Publish through your workflow
Municipal sites usually route page changes through an approval workflow, so submit the page and confirm it renders once approved.
Things that trip people up
- Some CivicEngage versions strip the style attribute. If the widget shows a border, ask your administrator to allow inline styles, or accept the default border.
- If your city requires an accessibility (VPAT) or security review before adding a third-party embed, ask us at procurement@statharbour.com and we will supply the documentation.
