    Embed league standings on Wix

Wix embeds third-party content through its Embed HTML element. The element runs your snippet inside its own frame, so the script embed works and will size itself to the content.

Which snippet: Wix already wraps your snippet in its own iframe and gives that wrapper a fixed height you set by dragging, so the auto-resizing script cannot grow it. Use the plain iframe snippet and set the Wix element height to match.

    Build your snippet

Pick your league and widget, then copy the iframe snippet and come back here.

    Step by step

    1. 1

Open the page in the Wix Editor

Go to your Wix dashboard, choose Edit Site, and navigate to the page that should show the standings.

    2. 2

      Add an Embed HTML element

Click Add Elements (the plus icon), then Embed Code, then Embed HTML. Drag the element onto the page where you want the table.

    3. 3

      Paste the snippet

Click Enter Code on the new element, choose the Code option rather than Website Address, and paste the iframe snippet from the widget generator.

    4. 4

      Size the element

Drag the element handles until the whole table is visible without an inner scrollbar. Give it a little extra height so it still fits when teams are added later.

    5. 5

      Publish

Click Publish. The embed does not render in the editor preview on every plan, so check the published page if it looks empty.

    Things that trip people up

    • The embed will not display on a Wix site that has not been published, and free Wix sites show it only on the published URL.
    • If the widget appears cut off, increase the height of the Embed HTML element itself. The widget is not clipping, the Wix wrapper is.
    • Wix Studio uses the same element under a different name: Embed, then Embed HTML.
