    Embed league standings on Squarespace

Squarespace embeds custom HTML through a Code Block. Code Blocks are available on the Business plan and above; on the Personal plan you can still use an Embed Block with the widget URL.

Which snippet: The script snippet is the better choice here: a Code Block has no fixed height of its own, so the widget can size itself as your league grows.

    Build your snippet

Pick your league and widget, then copy the script snippet and come back here.

    Step by step

    1. 1

      Edit the page

Open your Squarespace site, go to Pages, choose the page, and click Edit.

    2. 2

      Insert a Code Block

Click an insert point, search the block menu for Code, and add a Code Block where the standings should appear.

    3. 3

      Paste the snippet

Set the block language to HTML, clear the placeholder content, and paste the script snippet from the widget generator. Leave Display Source unchecked.

    4. 4

Save and check the live site

Click Save. Code Blocks render as a grey placeholder inside the editor, so open the live page to see the actual widget.

    Things that trip people up

    • Code Blocks require the Business plan or higher. On Personal, add an Embed Block instead and paste the widget URL on its own.
    • Squarespace does not run scripts inside the editor preview. A grey box in edit mode is expected.
    • If your site uses a dark theme, set the widget theme to dark in the generator before copying.
